https://tube.fediverse.games/videos/watch/00a437f8-f24a-4cdd-9dc0-6c3f92ebfea0 Simon, The Divergent Star is the most challenging superboss in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, added in the game's "Thank You Update". In this video, I defeat the superboss on NG+5+ expert difficulty with solo characters, using parry and non-damaging skills only, while taking no damage. I recorded this fight on my NG+32 save file with no challenge settings enabled, but enemy stats stop scaling at NG+5. Simon uses all available moves in this recording. My loadout for Verso was constrained by my unwillingness to use a damaging skill to inflict mark. While I consider this loadout to be "solo", the three characters that activate Auto Death all contribute damage via Burning Death and Clea's Death. Clea's Death contributes damage even though it does not explicitly appear in the effect lists during battle (normally it appears in the list for one dead character, but Simon removes them). I added the "PARRY IT!" indicator in the recording software to indicate when the parry button is pressed. Achieving this victory took me around 10 hours of practice and attempts. To practice, I used two mods: "I am Immortal (Simon Parry Training)" to grant Verso immortality while using the Verleso weapon, and "Skill and Attributes" multiplier to skip to phase 2 after the first phase 1 turn.
