These days started the Early Access of Peter Molyneux's probably final game: Masters of Albion. I didn't played it yet, but I definitely will. Peter Molyneux might be a controversional designer, especially in the 2010s. Often promising more than the final game delivers, but besides Sid Meier, Chris Roberts and John Romero he is a hero of my youth: Dungeon Keeper, Theme Park, Syndicate, Magic Carpet and especially Black & White. The arrival of his final game might be a good moment to have a look at his first game, the first "god game": Populous I missed it back then, but played it a little bit the last years. Having the premise of being a god for your people to let them fight a proxy war against another god, it is basically a landscaping game. Your level the terrain so your people can construct huts, houses and castles and start to thrive.
